Little Black Romper!

There are two things that I’m a sucker for, the first being all black clothing and second being a good romper.  So it’s no surprise that this baby made its way into my closet.  It’s comfortable, affordable, and the lace-up neck detail is the the icing on the cake, what more could you ask for!  The best part is that rompers can be both a daytime and nighttime staple.

I’m sure you’ve seen my grey suede Steve Madden shoes that I wear all the time due to their level of comfort, so I had to get the same pair in black.  They are my summer staple and by being a reasonable price, I’m not worried about wrecking them in the streets of New York (where yes, your feet are nearly covered in dirt after a day of walking around in sandals).

I also wanted to mention the location in which these photos were taken because it is such a hidden gem in New York.  Right in the middle of the hustle and bustle is this quiet and quaint street, hidden in the West Village, and I only saw a few people pass by for the duration that I was there.  It is called Minetta Lane and it is so adorable.  It’s rare to find any space in New York where you’re not surrounded by numerous people.
