Summer Time Shirtdress

With the summer feeling busier than ever with weddings, events, and weekends away, it’s always hard to sit down at a computer without having FOMO and wanting to be outside. Lucky for me a heat wave has taken over New York City this week, so I’m staying clear of the humid subway stations and sitting inside an air-conditioned coffee shop.

As you’ve probably noticed, I am loving shirt-dresses.  They’re great during the summertime in order to swap out the usual shorts and T-shirt.  What is a shirtdress? Essentially it’s a dress-shirt, made a touch longer into a dress with the accessories setting the tone for the outfit.  In my last post I talked about dressing them up with a high waist belt, so here you have exactly that.  Still casual and comfortable for the everyday look, and breathable during this humid time.
